James Chapman’s relational, interdisciplinary practice examines memory, responsibility, and the mechanics of interpersonal exchange. Through durational and participatory projects he invites audiences to consider their own agency within shared social and economic structures. His installations—combining print, text, 4D and digital media—have explored duress, duration, and the ethical complexities in contemporary life.
